Our Story
How Just One More Plant came to be.
Debbie & Sheryl's Plant Journey
It all started on
Mother's Day 2025.
With a simple but perfect gift: a beautiful Parlor Palm from Sheryl's daughter Bonnie, and a dying Monstera Deliciosa from Debbie's son Jacob. (It's thriving and HUGE now! 😊)
Things escalated quickly from there. One year later, we've grown to over 300 plants, 5 in-home greenhouses, hanging plants galore, and propagation boxes. What started as a Mother's Day gift has become a passion we can't get enough of.
This past year has been all about reading, learning, and hands-on experience. Every plant taught us something new — and we're completely obsessed.

Debbie
The Plant Grower
Debbie is a former restaurant owner with over 35 years in the industry and a former elected official in her hometown for over 10 years.
She brings business savvy, leadership experience, and an incredible green thumb to Just One More Plant. Debbie is the plant grower — her hands are in the soil, her eye for design is impeccable, and her knowledge of plant care is extensive.
Sheryl
The Engineer
Sheryl is a true Texan at heart, a dedicated school bus driver who excels at her job and loves her kids. She's the engineer of the operation — building, renovating, and keeping Debbie away from power tools! 😄
Sheryl's organizational skills and creative problem-solving keep the business running smoothly. Retirement is right around the corner, and she's ready to devote full-time energy to growing Just One More Plant.

We source vessels individually from thrift stores and estate sales. No two pieces are ever the same.
